Tottenham handed transfer boost as Man City won’t be signing ‘incredible’ Euro 2024 star this summer
Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a significant boost in their attempts to land a player who has shone at Euro 2024 this summer, with Manchester City reportedly not interested in competing for his signature.
Spurs would likely have little joy if they were to go head-to-head with Manchester City for a key signing this summer.
Despite Tottenham’s undeniable progress under Ange Postecoglou over the past year, a move to link up with Pep Guardiola would be incredibly difficult for any player to turn down.
Eberechi Eze is among Tottenham’s key targets this summer and he’s also been on City’s radar in past transfer windows.
Fortunately for Spurs, the Premier League champions aren’t planning to move for Eze and after receiving a boost in their attempts to land the Crystal Palace star, talkSPORT’s Alex Crook also claims City aren’t interested in signing another Tottenham target.

Man City not keen on signing Tottenham target Dani Olmo
Dani Olmo has grabbed plenty of headlines in recent weeks after some standout performances for Spain at Euro 2024.
TBR Football reported just last month that Spurs have been made aware of a £50 million release clause in Olmo’s contract.
However, reports emerged on Monday claiming that City are ready to beat Spurs to signing the RB Leipzig star.
Now, Crook has shared a more positive update for Tottenham fans as he claims that despite recent reports, City aren’t looking into signing Olmo this summer.

Olmo’s impressive Euro 2024 stats
The ‘’ 26-year-old has long been a consistent performer for Leipzig and has certainly never disappointed on the international stage either.
Spain are set to face off against England in the Euro 2024 final in Berlin on Sunday and Olmo has proven key for Luis de la Fuente’s side.
In six appearances in Germany, the Leipzig star has netted three times and provided two assists.
He’s currently tied with a host of players, alongside former Spurs star Harry Kane, in the race for the Golden Boot award.
