Tottenham fans react to Roma eyeing Tanguy Ndombele
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on surprise reports claiming that Roma want Tanguy Ndombele as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his midfield options.

, Mourinho is eyeing a potential reunion with Ndombele with the Roma boss keen to add someone with great athleticism to his ranks.
It comes after a summer in which Ndombele was reportedly keen to leave Spurs.
Of course, it has been a turbulent spell in North London for the 24-year-old. And one of those who struggled to get the best out of him was Mourinho.
There were some more promising signs during Mourinho’s final months in charge of Tottenham. However, it had appeared for sometime that Ndombele was destined to leave if the Portuguese remained in charge.
Unsurprisingly, the reports have left a lot of Tottenham fans feeling incredibly baffled on social media.
Firstly, they do not see Ndombele being the answer for a manager who is looking to add athleticism to his midfield.
Ndombele has come in for criticism for not working harder at times. He certainly does appear to have a more relaxed style given the quality he offers on the ball.
They also have their doubts about the idea of Mourinho working with Ndombele once again.

The pair seemed to enjoy an interesting relationship during Mourinho’s time in charge of Tottenham.
So while it does not appear that many are willing to rule out the possibility of Ndombele leaving, they seemingly do not believe for one second that he will end up in the Italian capital.
