Tottenham fans react to reports Newcastle want 24-year-old
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports claiming that Newcastle United are considering a move for Joe Rodon in the January transfer window.
Rodon has remained on the periphery of the Spurs squad following the appointment of Antonio Conte. Interestingly, Conte recently praised Rodon for his work-rate on the training ground.

Nevertheless, he is yet to add to his one Premier League appearance so far this season. That came in the clash with Crystal Palace in September. And he has missed out on the match day squad on two occasions already.
That appears to have alerted one of their rivals. that Newcastle are considering a move for the Wales international. The likes of Matthias Ginter, Lloyd Kelly and Sven Botman are also on the Magpies’ radar.

It must be noted that the Mail does not share what kind of move Newcastle would pursue for the 24-year-old. But it would appear that Spurs fans would not be completely against a permanent deal.
Rodon cost Tottenham when he signed from Swansea last year. And it would seem that the supporters would want a fee of around £30 million for a permanent deal next month.
‘Got to be a loan’: Tottenham fans react as Newcastle eye Joe Rodon
Clearly, some think a loan would make sense. Rodon could play regularly at a big club and regain some confidence ahead of a fresh chance with Tottenham next season.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Spurs fans made of the news that Newcastle are eyeing Rodon…
This kid is going to be a star and we are going to wish we invested time in his development. I hope we can put him out on loan.
