Tottenham fans react to Jack Clarke latest Leeds performance
Jack Clarke played for Leeds United on Tuesday night in the first round of the Carabao Cup – and some Tottenham fans on Twitter were impressed from what they saw from him.
Spurs signed the attacker for £10million () in the summer from Leeds and sent him back on loan to Elland Road for the 2019/20 campaign to help his development.
The 18-year-old is a skilful winger blessed with pace and skill, something he showed in glimpses on Tuesday.
Leeds secured a 3-0 victory over League Two Salford City in the cup and Marcelo Bielsa’s team cruised into the next round.
Clarke made his first appearance of the season for the Yorkshire club and played 70 minutes before being subsisted off.
The winger beat his full-back several times with his quick turn of pace, but wasn’t quite able to find the final ball and Salford defender well for large parts.

A selection of Spurs fans on social media watched their summer addition in action for Leeds and most seemed delighted with what they saw.
He’s still a rising talent that hasn’t had much senior football, but will continue to grow and has shown he’s an exciting attacker to watch with the ball at his feet.
Here are some Spurs fans on Clarke:
Clarke and Sessegnon wings sorted for the next decade you can see the master plan with Parrott in the middle ?

Tricky.
Young and inconsistent, in and out the game.
Needs a year then a bit of Poch.
Probably needs and stone in weight as well.— Dave Ellis ↗️??♂️ (@fullback03)
First time I watch Jack Clarke play for Leeds united. Looks like Spurs have signed a gem.

Clarke Leeds best player so far. Always moving. Can run at a player. Looks at ease playing in a pich-esque system

2nd Half
I couldn’t watch the entire second half, but Clarke seemed to be quiet for the 15 minutes I did catch.
He was pulled off in the 70th minute, but I thought he played well during his time on the pitch.
That kid loves a sole role more than Lamela lol

Clarke appears to be the English Son with a Lamela ball roll thrown in
