Tottenham fans react to Alli stats from Wolves win

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans were reacting to a stat about Dele Alli following yesterday’s 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

What’s the story?

The England international won and scored a penalty to hand Nuno Espirito Santo his second victory in as many games. And Spurs have only lost one of 45 league games when Alli has scored.

The full extent of his impact on Spurs emerged following the game at Molineux yesterday.

Tottenham have lost just in which Dele has scored.

His display continued the former Milton Keynes Dons ace’s revival after a stuttering season last time out.

Alli only made seven starts throughout the Premier League campaign. He has already made two under Nuno.

It is crazy how close the midfielder was to leaving the club last summer.

His relationship with Jose Mourinho was virtually non-existent as he was left in the wilderness.

However, he seems close to completing a revival in a boost to the north Londoners.

The stat only further displays why Tottenham should keep Alli.

His attacking prowess is one of the best among the current first-team squad.

Alli has an innate ability to find the back of the net and, should Harry Kane leave, it will be important to keep him.
