Tottenham fans react as Troy Parrott linked with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund
Tottenham Hotspur starlet Troy Parrott is being linked with a move to either Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund as German clubs continue to scour the Premier League for young talent – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter.
that both of the Bundesliga’s biggest sides are desperate to sign 17-year-old Parrott, who continues to develop a highly-rated reputation in Tottenham’s academy. He has even made his senior debut already.
Although it came in the dismal Carabao Cup defeat to Colchester United, the Ireland Under-21 cap started the game and that alone showed just how much Tottenham think of the young striker. He has scored four goals for the Under-21 side in 13 games.
However, his burgeoning reputation has caught the attention of both Bayern and Dortmund scouts, with the German sides seemingly looking to convince Parrott to leave Spurs – given the bad form of the north London side at the moment.
The German sides believe Parrott can become the next version of Jadon Sancho, who at 19 has already played 66 times for Dortmund’s senior team. Ademola Lookman, Lewis Baker and Reece Oxford are also trying their luck in Germany.
Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter to the reported news that both Bayern and Dortmund are interested in landing their young goal machine, and the majority have urged their side to keep the young striker.
