Tottenham fans react as talks reportedly begin for possible Danny Rose exit
Tottenham left-back Danny Rose is being linked with a move to Serie A club Genoa – and some Spurs fans on Twitter have responded by wishing him good luck and feel he’s been a great servant for them.
claims that Italian top-flight side Genoa are in talks with Spurs about signing their 30-year-old defender.
It is understood that the North London club are willing to offload the 29-time capped England international and Genoa are in pole position for him, but a deal could be possible to conclude.
Rose has had a 13-year stint with Spurs since he joined from Leeds United back in 2007, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was to end that this summer.
The left-back was a key part of a team under Mauricio Pochettino that became top four regulars and reached a Champions League final, but under current boss Jose Mourinho has fallen out of favour.
He was shipped out on loan to St James’ Park during the second half of last season and wasn’t able to rediscover his best form for Newcastle United.

A selection of Spurs fans on social media have sent kind messages to Rose amid rumours of a summer exit and he would be leaving as a popular figure.
Here are some Spurs supporters discussing Rose:
Good luck to him. He’s been fantastic for us over the years. Nothing but respect. Best of luck Danny.

I hope the move works out for him & he enjoys what’s left of his career there. Being out of the premier league spot light & even a different culture may do him good.

I’m happy that if this comes off that Danny will get to play in a new environment. He deserves to finish his career on the pitch

If he does make the move all the best to Danny Rose! Top player one of our own
