Tottenham fans react as Lorenzo Insigne could reportedly end up at Spurs
Lorenzo Insigne could reportedly end up at Tottenham this summer if Daniel Levy opts to appoint Maurizio Sarri, with Spurs said to be interested in the experienced Italian – and some fans are excited at the prospect of Insigne.
Sarri, 62, has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs following the sacking of Jose Mourinho last week. The ex-Chelsea, Juventus and Napoli boss is a contender along with the likes of Erik Ten Hag, Marcelino and others.
Spurs have missed out on Julian Nagelsmann, with the RB Leipzig manager being confirmed as joining Bayern Munich. Hansi Flick is said to be leaving Bayern this summer in order to replace the soon-to-exit Joachim Low.
Sarri then remains an option and Italian journalist Paolo Bargiggia has claimed – – that Sarri’s future could determine the future of Insigne. It is claimed Insigne is open to joining Tottenham if Sarri ends up in London.

“Aurelio De Laurentiis’ [Napoli president] request for Insigne is €30m (£26m), however that could be reduced to €20m/€25m (£17.5m/£21.8m). The future of Insigne could be determined by Sarri,”
Bargiggia continued: “The offensive winger has a great relationship with the manager and would be willing to follow him to Roma or Tottenham this summer. At the moment, there are no concrete facts yet.”
Insigne has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, but he has now been at Napoli since joining the club’s youth academy aged just 15. He has gone on to play 392 games in all competitions for the Italians.
Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports that Insigne might end up at Spurs this summer if Levy does look to bring in 62-year-old Sarri – and some believe the pocket-sized wide man would be a top addition.
Others would rather Insigne and not Sarri, while some prefer to have neither.
