Tottenham fans react as Jurgen Klinsmann linked with nabbing Spurs man
Tottenham outcast Victor Wanyama is reportedly a target for Spurs legend Jurgen Klinsmann after the former Germany boss took over at Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter.
, the 28-year-old is on Klinsmann’s shortlist ahead of the January window as the ex-USA manager looks to bring in some reinforcements after a poor 2019-20 start.
Despite having hopes of a top-half finish, Hertha sit way down in 13th place in the 18-team Bundesliga table. They have lost eight of their 15 league games and sit just three points above the drop. Klinsmann has been drafted in to steady the ship.

The report claims that £11m signing Wanyama, who joined Spurs in the summer of 2016 from Southampton, will be allowed to leave by Jose Mourinho. The Kenya captain has only been used once by Mourinho, as a late sub against Bayern Munich.
Wanyama has plummeted down the pecking order at Spurs, following the signing of Tanguy Ndombele and the rise of both Harry Winks and Oliver Skipp. Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko are also preferred in the middle of the park.
Wanyama was heavily linked with a move to Celtic and Club Brugge in the summer but a move did not pay off. Now, Spurs fans are desperate for Klinsmann to lure Wanyama away from their club in the January window.
