Tottenham fans react as Jerome Boateng is linked with summer transfer
Jerome Boateng is at the top of Tottenham’s wanted list this summer as they crave a new central defender, Following the news, supporters have been reacting on Twitter.
The 32-year-old will be out of contract in the summer and will leave after 10 years at the club. The Bayern enforcer is willing to take a pay-cut to leave Germany – although he craves a three-year deal.
In total, Boateng has played 361 times for the Bundesliga outfit, scoring 10 goals and registering 25 assists. Tottenham won’t be the only club interested, with MLS interest also mentioned in the latest from Germany.

His last contract with Bayern was worth a staggering Although Boateng is prepared to take a lesser salary, he is keen to sign a longer contract in order to see his career out.
His advancing years might put some clubs off. Tottenham’s situation defensively is pretty desperate though and Boateng would still represent an improvement.
Boateng has played 37 games for Bayern this season, with the club on course to retain their Bundesliga crown for the ninth successive campaign.

Boateng will be good for experience as he's played at the very highest levels. Toby and Sanchez will leave I think so that leaves you with block head Dier. I'd definitely go with him and Andersen as the pairing with tanganga and roden as the under studies. Dier can rot.

Personally, look at how Thiago Silva's gone for Chelsea. I prefer Boateng to Thiago Silva so as long as it's cheap why not..

A lot of people are against this and I get it. But if we bring Boateng in along with a couple of other CBs then it’s a decent signing. Brings good experience. Could be like Silva for Chelsea
