Tottenham fans react as Fernando Llorente wins Coppa Italia with Napoli
Fernando Llorente helped Napoli achieve Coppa Italia success on Wednesday night as Napoli beat Juventus on penalties to hold aloft the trophy – and Tottenham supporters have responded to his Tweet.
Llorente, 35, left Tottenham last summer after his contract expired, joining Napoli on a free. He failed to help Spurs win a trophy during his two years at the club, but has picked up a trophy triumph just one season later.
The Spanish target man clocked up 66 appearances for Spurs – scoring 13 goals in that time and having a hand in some crucial moments during the run to the Champions League final, including a goal against Manchester City.
Since joining Napoli, Llorente has scored four goals in 24 appearances – working under both new Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti and Gennaro Gattuso. He posted on Twitter after holding aloft the Coppa Italia.
CAMPIONI COPPAITALIA! 🏆🇮🇹🙌🏻🥇

Llorente’s Coppa Italia win is not the first of his career, having won the trophy with Juventus in the 2014-15 season. Arkadiusz Milik – a reported Tottenham target – scored the winner in the penalty shootout to win 4-2.
Tottenham supporters have been made to wait a long time for a trophy despite the success under Mauricio Pochettino, and many responded to Llorente’s post which saw him pose alongside the Coppa Italia silverware.
So deserved ⚪
