Tottenham fans react as defender Serge Aurier is linked with summer exit

Tottenham are reportedly open to selling Serge Aurier this summer – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter believe it’s the right decision to let him leave.

, Spurs would be willing to part ways with the 28-year-old defender at the end of the season, despite the fact he’d still have another year on his contract.

It is understood that Jose Mourinho’s side may be prepared to sell him for a fee of around £10million, amid interest from French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Aurier previously joined Spurs from PSG back in 2017, plus they are now managed by ex-Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The Ivory Coast international has come up with some big moments for the North London club, but there has always been a rashness to his game when it comes to defending.

If the right-back could be a little more level-headed, he would surely be considered in the top bracket of full-backs.

Unfortunately, he can make stupid decisions at times.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media agree that allowing Aurier to leave will make sense for all parties in this upcoming summer window.

If he does exit for around £10million, it would be less than half the £23million () they paid for him back in 2017.
