Tottenham fans react as Danny Rose is released from club
Danny Rose has been released from Tottenham after 14 years with the club.
Spurs that the England defender is one of a number of players that will leave the club this summer. Paulo Gazzaniga is another notable name on the list.

Rose spent close to 14 years with the club after joining from Leeds United as a teenager. The left-back was part of Mauricio Pochettino’s famous Spurs side during the mid 2010s.
Despite being a full England international, Rose has fallen out of favour hugely at Spurs. The defender was stripped of his kit number at the start of the season and has not featured in any matchday squad this campaign.

Despite the past few years, Rose was met with plenty of well-wishes on Twitter from supporters wishing him the best in his career.
Here’s what some Spurs fans had to say on Twitter about Rose leaving the club after so many years with the north London side…
Absolutely phenomenal servant for the club, punished for speaking out and speaking the truth. Nothing but a shame it's ended this way, eternally grateful for the loyalty he showed

Danny got a lot of stick for his public criticism of Club transfer policy. But he's been proved right on a lot of things.

He was a great player for us, especially when he and Walker bombed up the wings.
I know he's struggled with mental health and I wish him well!
Often misunderstood and occasionally out of line, but in his day he was, hands down, the best LB in the league. The seasons where he and Walker flew up and down those flanks were incredible. Gave 100% every time he put the shirt on. He also scored THAT goal. Wish him all the best

Best left back I have watched at The Lane.
Thank you Danny. You were part of one of the best back fours in the club's history and your contribution won't be forgotten🤍

Danny Rose was linked with a January transfer to West Brom, yet a move didn’t materialise.
