Tottenham fans react as club reportedly eye South American midfielder, Leeds and West Ham also linked
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks to sign Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez this summer. The Uruguay international has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks and months. West Ham and Leeds are keen, but Tottenham fans want Nandez signed.
Nandez, 25, has spent the past two seasons with Serie A outfit Cagliari after winning the Copa Libertadores with Boca Juniors. The midfielder is incredibly versatile, playing as a right-back for Uruguay at the Copa America. He is also renowned for his tenacity, work rate, and ability.
Leeds and West Ham want Nandez, but it seems as though Tottenham have stolen a march – and are in talks. That is according to Fabrizio Romano. He says talks are at an early stage, Tottenham and Fabio Paratici are in talks. His exit clause is £30.5m .

Tottenham could do with another addition in midfield. Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks are being linked with the exit door, while Tanguy Ndombele has been left out of the squad that will travel to Portugal. Dele Alli and Oliver Skipp were excellent alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on Sunday.
But Tottenham fans are aware another midfielder is crucial this summer and many think Nandez would be a good addition.
