Tottenham fans react as club reportedly eye cut-price move for Ivan Perisic
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in a cut-price move to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic as loan side Bayern Munich stall on a deal to land the Croatian permanently – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter.
Perisic, 31, is in decent form for the Bundesliga champions – having scored six goals and created eight more during his 28 league and cup appearances for Bayern. He netted in a 2-1 Cup semi-final win over Frankfurt this week.
Bayern do want to sign the 2018 World Cup finalist on a permanent basis – but they do not want to spend the previously agreed £18million, given the current global health crisis.

Inter are also aware that they are unlikely to rake in that kind of fee for a player well into his thirties. They are willing to let Perisic go for a fee in the region of £13.5million, which is said to be interesting Tottenham.
Spurs will be boosted in their pursuit of the former Wolfsburg and Dortmund wide man, given that Bayern are only willing to spend £9million to get Perisic permanently. A move to Spurs depends on Bayern upping their offer.
Tottenham supporters reacted on Twitter to the news that Jose Mourinho could finally sign Perisic, having wanted him at Manchester United. Many think Perisic would be a good addition to the Spurs squad.
