Tottenham fans react as club reportedly battling three Premier League clubs for Dahoud

Tottenham Hotspur are one of four clubs reportedly interested in raiding Borussia Dortmund to sign midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud this summer, with Manchester City also said to be interested – and Spurs fans have responded on Twitter.

Dahoud, 25, has broken back into the Dortmund side of late after a tricky spell on the fringes of the squad – and such form has seen him earn two Germany caps this season. However, his long-term future is in doubt, with his contract expiring in 2022.

Spurs are keen to take advantage and raid Champions League quarter-finalists Dortmund for Dahoud. However, they are not alone in their pursuit of the ball-playing midfielder with three Premier League rivals also looking to lure him to England.

Spurs are one of four Premier League sides keen on Dahoud, along with Man City, Everton and Chelsea. Thomas Tuchel is said to have a wide-ranging knowledge of Dahoud, despite the midfielder joining Dortmund after Tuchel left in 2017.

Spurs fans have reacted to the reports that Dahoud is a target for Jose Mourinho and the North London club, and many believe he would be a good signing for Tottenham this summer. One fan Tweeted Dahoud is a “baller” and would be a “class signing”.
