Tottenham fans purr over Christian Eriksen, some want a return
Tottenham fans have been purring after Eriksen’s recent comments.
Christian Eriksen:
— Last Word On Spurs (@LastWordOnSpurs)
”I had some unbelievable memories during my five-to-six years of being with Spurs.”
“I enjoyed being at the training ground everyday & playing in the stadium.”
”I want to say thank you for what you did for me”.
The Danish midfielder is one of the best players to ever wear the shirt for Tottenham in the Premier League era.
The midfielder left the club almost two years ago and he’s still dearly missed.
His performances from midfield made him one of the best creative players in the world.
Across an impressive six and a half seasons with Tottenham, Eriksen’s numbers were amazing.
He scored 69 times and assisted 90 in 305 games ().
However, almost two years on from his exit from North London, Eriksen has opened up on his time at the club.
The Dane spoke well about his time at the club, claiming he enjoyed every day with Spurs.
He was also keen to thank the fans for their support of him.
Tottenham fans purr over Eriksen after recent comments

Many supporters will see these comments and remember some of the amazing good times he provided them.
His exit was not what any of the fans wanted to see.
However, he left for Inter Milan and Spurs have never managed to properly replaced him.
That’s led to some fans even calling for him to return to Spurs.
Unfortunately, Eriksen’s playing career has stalled.
He suffered a heart attack whilst playing for Denmark at the Euros and hasn’t played since.
Despite still being on Inter’s books he’s not played any football this season.
However, Spurs fans would love to see him return to North London, be it in a playing capacity or not.
Either way, he’s not been properly replaced at Spurs and having his face back around at the club would be welcomed.
Even if he doesn’t make a return, the fans will always have some fantastic memories of Eriksen at the club.
