Tottenham fans have reacted to Max Aarons commenting on Spurs’ new stadium
Max Aarons has told Rising Ballers’ Instagram story during a Q&A session that Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium is one of the two best grounds he has played at – and Spurs supporters have reacted on Twitter.
Aarons, 20, has impressed in a Norwich City side that sit rock bottom of the Premier League. Missing just two of Norwich’s 29 Premier League matches this season, Aarons has established himself as another impressive English right-back.
Indeed, Aarons joins a list of young, impressive English right-backs such as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and others. Competition for an England place is hotly-contested, with Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker also options.
Spurs want to lure the right-back to north London in the summer, with a fee of £30million said to be enough to secure the defender’s services. Aarons heaped praise on Tottenham’s new ground, when asked by a fan.

“Stuck between two,” Aarons said. “Old Trafford was unbelievable. You can feel the history, a great stadium. The new Tottenham stadium, that was crazy in there. You look at it and you feel how good it is, how good it has been built.”
Tottenham need a right-back this summer, with Serge Aurier failing to rid himself from the reputation of being a liability. Meanwhile, the Ivorian is being linked with AC Milan – and Spurs need to at least bring in cover for the Ivorian.
Tottenham supporters reacted on Twitter to the news that Aarons admitted he was a big fan of the new ground – and many have urged their club to raid Norwich for the right-sided defender.
