Tottenham fans gutted as Aston Villa star shines

Leon Bailey produced a wonderful display as Aston Villa beat Everton 3-0 on Saturday – and Tott💫enham fans have responded in a frustrated manner.

Bailey, 24, got a go▨al and an assist as Villa cruised to a brilliant win at home. Matty Cash gave Villa the lead with a delightful left-footed effort.

But then, the res🌱t of the game was dictated by Jamaica inte𝔉rnational Bailey. First, he swung a corner into the box – an inswinging delivery with his left.

The pace and 🔥swerve saw Lucas Digne head into his own net, going down as an own goal. But the ball in was perfect, impossib𒀰le to defend.

Danny Ings was the𒁏 architect for £25million () signing Bailey’s first Villa goal. Pinging 🐷a ball out to the left, Ings found an on-rushing Bailey perfectly.

Heading the ball ahead of himselfဣ, the ex-Bayer Leverkusen man then slammed home a left-footed effort past Asmir Begovic in the Everton goal.

What are Tottenham fans saying as Bailey shines for Villa?

Back in January, Spurs were one of a number of Premier League clubs looking at Bailey. He has been linked numerous times.

Of course, Spurs missed out on Bailey. Instead, they brought in Bryan Gil and he is seen as 🐲a smart buy, showing glimpses of magic so far.

The North Londoners also have Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn, Son Heung-min and🗹 other options. Moura is inconsistent, while Bergwijn is struggling.

Bailey, in the opinion of some Tottenham fans, would improve ꦯNuno Espirito’s side. Many, then, are frustrated to see him shining at Villa.
