Tottenham fans fume as club reportedly offered just £1m for English wonderkid
Tottenham reportedly offered just £1million to sign Jude Bellingham from Birmingham City last summer, a bid which was turned down by the Blues – and Spurs fans have reacted now that he has joined Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham, 17, has completed a £30million move to Borussia Dortmund on Monday after an excellent campaign at Championship side Birmingham City. Bellingham has clocked up 43 senior outings, even scoring four times.
Now, the central midfielder is believed to have signed a five-year deal with Dortmund – as he looks to take the same route that Jadon Sancho has done, in order to let his career take flight.

It could have been so different, though. that just last summer, Spurs tabled an offer worth £1million to lure England Under-17 international Bellingham to Spurs – only for the Blues to reject a move.
Bellingham was yet to receive first-team football at that point and while £30million is somewhat expensive now, it would have been ridiculous without a senior debut. He is the most-expensive 17-year-old in history.
Tottenham supporters reacted to the news that they could have signed Bellingham last summer for a much smaller fee than the one Dortmund have just tabled – and some are frustrated that they did not complete a move.
Embarrassing 😡now watch him become a big star!

Pathetic. Remember, they thought Jason Sancho was too high at 7 million!
