Tottenham fans excited by Fabio Paratici’s plans to bolster the midfield
Tottenham fans are loving Paratici’s transfer plan.
The Italian director of football has got plans to bolster the Tottenham midfield in the coming transfer windows.
Speaking on his , Fabrizio Romano has outlined that Paratici’s priority at the club is improving the midfield.
Steve Hitchen and Paratici are working ahead of the January window to try and improve the club.
However, it may be the summer in which the Lilywhites start to get players through the door.
It’s hardly surprising that it’s the midfield that is being targeted.
There is a real lack of creativity in the Spurs ranks.
Since Christian Eriksen left the club the Lilywhites have struggled to consistently create chances.

In Tanguy Ndombele, Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celso, Tottenham have got some good players in the midfield.
However, none of them have been able to replace the chance creation that Eriksen provided.
It also must be mentioned that no one at Tottenham can boss a midfield in the same way that Mousa Dembele did.
Bringing in a couple of players who can fill the voids left by Dembele and Eriksen would give Spurs a huge boost.
The club have been linked with players who fit those profiles too.
Mikel Damsgaard was targeted over the summer to fill the creative void ().
Whilst more recently AC Milan’s Frank Kessie has been linked as a player who can do everything that Dembele used to do ().
The fans just want to see any business to be done as soon as possible in the January transfer window.
If the Lilywhites are to enjoy a successful season in Nuno’s first year then mid-season reinforcements have to come in.

They need to. The midfield is a real problem. It showed on Sunday when Kante came on he destroyed our midfield with his speed aggression and movement. Our guys look like they were running in quick sand.

January obviously. And we should also bring in another striker
— Twiisted (@Itz__Twiisted)
A powerful defensive midfielder, a no 10 who can connect play, a winger who can assist, a striker to play with Kane. Probably another CB to play with Romero. Yeah…
