Tottenham fans excited as club linked with Lyon striker Moussa Dembele
Tottenham Hotspur reportedly scouted Lyon striker Moussa Dembele along with Arsenal and Manchester United as the Frenchman scored against Bordeaux last month – and Tottenham fans are excited.
that Tottenham sent scouts and they were in attendance as the 22-year-old came off the bench to score the winner in a 3-2 league win over Bordeaux.
With the score at 2-2, former Celtic and Fulham striker Dembele came on and lashed a half volley into the top corner which will have surely impressed Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United scouts.

Dembele joined Lyon last summer from Celtic for £19.7million and has since scored 18 goals in 42 games. Tottenham need a back-up striker with Fernando Llorente’s contract set to expire, and Dembele could be that man.
Indeed, Llorente is struggling to win over Spurs and with Vincent Janssen making one appearance for the north Londoners since the summer of 2017, a back-up striker is required if Spurs are to maintain a title race next season.
Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that their club have been scouting the Lyon striker, and many are keen to see the young Frenchman move to north London – though it remains to be seen how much it would cost.
i would take Ndombele, Wan-bissaka and Moussa dembele in the summer.
