Tottenham fans discuss reports that Spurs want their 29-year-old’s international teammate

Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Son Heung-min’s South Korea teammate Kim Min-jae – and Spurs fans want a deal done.

Kim, 25, was linked with a move to Tottenham last summer before he completed a move to Fenerbahce. He has since starred in Turkish football.

A perfect blend of power, speed, aerial ability and technical quality on the ball. Antonio Conte is said to want to bring a defender to the club.

Now, say Tottenham are one of three clubs looking to sign Kim. They are battling Juventus and Bordeaux for the South Korean ace.

It is believed that Juventus offered around half of the £17million fee Fenerbahce are requesting for Kim – who has played just 15 times for Fener.

Meanwhile, Spurs are said to be willing to pay more. Of course, he is the national teammate of Son – and both are said to have a good relationship.

What are Tottenham fans saying about a move for Kim?

Following Thursday night’s performance against NS Mura, it is quite clear Spurs need two new centre-backs. A left-footed centre-back, being one.

But another to replace Davinson Sanchez. Peter Crouch labelled the Colombian “awful”, for his shocking performance in the middle of defence.

Spurs need cover for Davies on the left of a back three – with no other defender left-footed. Sanchez also needs replacing; Kim can be that man.

Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports that Conte could look to bring in Kim in January – and many are all for his arrival.
