Tottenham fans discuss reports that Celtic and Rangers are reportedly looking to sign 20-year-old
Celtic and Rangers are reportedly keen on raiding Tottenham for 20-year-old attacker Dilan Markanday – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter.
Markanday, 20, is in the form of his life. For Tottenham’s 23’s, Markanday has had a hand in 17 goals during his 16 appearances this season.
The attacker made his debut for the senior side, and his 15 other games have come for the reserves. He has scored 11 goals, and laid on six assists.
that Celtic and Rangers are interested in taking Markanday north of the border on loan. Other Scottish clubs are keen, too.
The report states that Tottenham want to hand him an extension, and then loan him to Celtic or Rangers. But a permanent move cannot be ruled out.
Of course, Tottenham’s 23 side will be gutted to lose Markanday – who has been excellent. But he does need a move to gain first-team football.

What are Tottenham fans saying, as Celtic and Rangers eye Markanday?
Celtic have numerous options in attack and ultimately, he would struggle to get into the side. Jota, Kyogo and Liel Abada are impressing as a front three.
Giorgios Giakoumakis, James Forrest and Mikey Johnston currently remain as back-up. At Rangers, he might find there is more scope for game time.
Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Ianis Hagi, Fashion Sakala and Kemar Roofe are options. But Gio van Bronckhorst is playing with a 4-2-3-1 system.
It hands Markanday a better chance due to more attacking positions. But one thing is clear, he does not start for either Glasgow side right now.
Tottenham fans have responded on Twitter to the reports that Celtic and Rangers are interested in signing Markanday in the coming window.
