Tottenham fans discuss reports Nice want Hugo Lloris this summer

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports claiming that Nice have made signing Hugo Lloris a priority for the summer transfer window.

Lloris’ future looks set to be a key talking point in the coming months. His contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expires at the end of the campaign.

And he has arguably been playing his best football for several years of the last 12 months. Unsurprisingly, Antonio Conte is keen to ensure that he extends his stay into next season.

Previous reports suggested that the Italian had made it clear to Lloris – – that he wanted him to stay. However, one of the goalkeeper’s former clubs are looking to throw a spanner into the works.

that Nice have made the 35-year-old their top target for the summer. And, perhaps more worryingly, Lloris is interested in making the move and returning to Ligue 1.

There is a real mix of reactions on social media. Some have expressed their frustration that Tottenham have allowed the situation reach this stage. Lloris ended last season as one of Tottenham’s best players, so they have had plenty of time to reach an agreement.

Others meanwhile, have suggested that they can definitely see a move taking place. Obviously, Lloris has that connection to Nice.

They hope that he will commit his future to Tottenham. But they can imagine a scenario where Lloris feels that the time is right to bring the curtain down on his brilliant spell with Spurs.
