Tottenham fans discuss Lucas Moura display vs Chelsea
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Lucas Moura after the forward’s display in the first-leg💮 of their Carabao Cup semi-final with Chelsea on Wednesday.
Antonio Conte’s mꦜen have it all to do in the second-leg. They were beaten 2-0 by the Italian’s former club at Stamford Bridge. And in truth, they were probably fortunate not to be left with a greater mountain to cl﷽imb.

Totten꧅ham conceded two awful goals in the first-half. And they were unable to register a single attempt on goal before the interval.
They did offer more after the break. But it cer💧🥃tainly seems fair to say that a number of players will have work to do to win Conte’s faith again.

However, one member of the squad who some fans did praise foll💟owing the game was Lucas. The Brazilian, once again, worked his socks off🍬 to try and make things happen.
Sometimes his quality was not there when Tottenha🍰m needed a perfect pass, or a moment of composure. But plenty of supporters suggested that he was a rare positive.
Lucas has looked exciting since Conte’s arrival. He appears to have plenty of potential in th𒁏at role around Harry Kane and Son⛄ Heung-min. And he came reasonably close to scoring with a half-chance midway through the second-half against the Blues.
‘Only player who wants to be there’: Tottenham fans laud Lucas Moura after loss
Obviousl꧑y, it was never going to be a night where any Tottenham player received u﷽niversal praise. But clearly, many felt that Lucas could hold his high a lot higher than most.
With that ♎in mind, here is what some of the Tot✨tenham fans made of Lucas’ display…
Lucas Moura our only good player today
— Jamie (@xthfcjamie)
That was more that poor, we could touch the ball, Lucas Moura looks like the only player who wants to be there. Tanganga was poor and so was Emerson. I have to think we willꦯ see Dele, Lo Celso, or Ndombele second half for Højbjerg or Skipp.

lucas and skipp have been our best players.

The Lloris and Moura show. Again.

I 🐼never want to see a😼nother Spurs fan ever question Lucas Moura. Always gives 100% for the badge
— 🇫🇷™ (@ConteSZN_)
Moura the only on𒅌e out there looking like he can do something
— Si (@Quint22Si)
Why is it Lucas Mourౠa Fc whenever we play a top 6 team?
— Jimmy (@jimomahoneyy)
Lucas Moura is the only outfield Tottenham player that cares in this൲ game, actually brings us alive whenever he touches the ball

Lucas Moura has been very very good.
Probably our only bright spark out there.— Spurs Bob (@Spurs2Bob)
