Tottenham fans discuss Joe Rodon reports ahead of January transfer window
Tottenham defender Joe Rodon is reportedly keen on leaving Spurs in the January window on loan – and Spurs fans have responded on Twitter.
Rodon, 24, has struggled for game time since moving from Swansea to Spurs. A 22-time Wales international, he has only played 20 times for Spurs.
This season, he has played just once in the Premier League – the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace. He has played four times in the Conference League.
Rodon is one of six options in central defence at Spurs. Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga and Rodon are currently being used as options.
Football London’s Alasdair Gold reports Rodon is frustrated. He wants to leave, and a loan might be engineered for the £10k-a-week () ace.

What are Tottenham fans saying about Rodon leaving on loan?
Rodon does need game time. He is not at a standstill in his career in which he needs to be playing regular football – his potential is dying.
Rodon has only played 86 times at senior level, professionally for Spurs, Swansea and Cheltenham Town. With his Wales caps, it is just 108.
He needs to play football. Rodon needs to join a side where he is first choice – week in, week out. The Welshman might not get that at Spurs.
Rather than just loaning him out at Spurs, fans of the London club want him sold permanently – with Rodon yet to show why Spurs bought him.
