Tottenham fans discuss Harry Winks after FA Cup win over Morecambe
A number of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the performance of Harry Winks as Antonio Conte’s men avoided an upset to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Spurs needed three late goals to ensure that they knocked the League One side out. They had gone behind as the visitors scored from a corner shortly after the half-hour mark at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Thankfully for the Premier League side, Spurs were able to turn the game around. And it was Winks who started the comeback, scoring an audacious free-kick with 16 minutes remaining.
Of course, Winks is no stranger to goals which leave fans debating whether he meant to score or not. But it would have been quite the overhit had he been looking for a teammate in the box.

And based on Winks’ recent form, it would be no surprise if he did indeed feel confident enough to try his luck. The 25-year-old has been superb of late under Conte.
No player completed more passes than the England international, . And he was certainly a shining light in the middle of the park for the home side. Of course, it was not a day to get carried away. But Winks impressed many with how he stepped up.
‘Amazing at the moment’: Tottenham fans laud Harry Winks after FA Cup win
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has struggled of late. And following Winks’ display alongside Oliver Skipp on Sunday, plenty of supporters have suggested Winks needs to get a chance with Skipp in the games to come.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Tottenham fans made of Winks’ performance against Morecambe…
Harry Winks for sure, did his job before the the triple sub and ran the game once he had some movement in front of him

Got to say massive credit to his attitude and desire to work hard and stay at the club has been fantastic, He will improve under Conte.
Ndombele on the other hand shouldn’t play for the club again, attitude stinks. Needs to take a long hard look at himself!!!

The difference in not only quality but attitude between the first team and the backup options is actually staggering. Dug out of a hole today.
Obviously great we won but left a lot to be desired. Winks our best player over the 90 imo.
