Tottenham fans discuss Englishman’s £20m price tag, want him back at Spurs
🍃Back in 2018, Tottenham made a mistake. Noni Madueke was allowed to leave the club and join PSV Eindhoven on a free transfer. He was only 16, but three years later, he is starring for PSV’s senior side at just 19 years of age. Now, Tottenham fans want him back, amid reports of a price tag.
✅Madueke has been excellent over the past 12 months for PSV. Breaking into the Dutch side before the 2020-21 season, he starred last term. Clocking up 32 senior outings, the one-time England Under-21 international produced 17 goal involvements. Scoring nine goals, he also laid on eight assists.
𓄧He has continued that form this season, too. PSV have started their campaign already, facing Galatasaray in the Champions League qualifying rounds. The London-born wide man got an assist during the first leg, a 5-1 win over the Turkish outfit. But his future remains a doubt.

Where could Madueke end up – and what is his price tag?
His form has caught the eye of numerous English clubs. Previously, 𓂃Leeds United have been linked with a move – as have Borussia Dortmund to replace Jadon Sancho.🐻 that Palace and Leicester are keen, with PSV placing a £20million price tag on the Englishman.
🔥It is a bargain price, given he is a player shining in Dutch football at the age of 19. Not only that, but Madueke is obviously English and adheres to homegrown rules. So, £20million is a brilliant price for a player who is seemingly getting better and better. He has a contract until 2024.
Do Tottenham need Madueke – and what do Spurs fans think?
✨In attack, Tottenham have numerous options. Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Son Heung-min and more. But Gareth Bale has returned to Real Madrid after a loan spell, where he still has another year left on his contract. Spurs need to bring in a replacement for the Wales international this summer.
Bryan Gil is expected to come in in a player-plus-cash deal, but that deal involves Erik Lamela going the other way. A move is imminent, with the Argentina international 🅺being spotted on one of Sevilla’s stadium screens.♔ Even if Bale and Lamela remained, Spurs would still need additions.
⭕So, should Tottenham consider bringing Madueke back to the club – given his £20million price tag? Well, Spurs need players for the Europa Conference League. While they have a big enough squad, the ECL could be used – and should be – to develop the club’s young players.
༒Madueke would be a good inclusion in that. He would add proper quality in the final third, that would still get the necessary game time at Spurs to further his development. At £20million, he is pretty cheap. But what makes him even better, of course, is that he is a Spurs academy graduate.
ౠTottenham have got to bring him home for £20million, beating Brendan Rodgers and Patrick Vieira to the punch. Madueke is a signing that Fabio Paratici has got to make if he wants to get fans even more on side – and Tottenham fans agree. One fans says:
