Tottenham fans really hope Sunday reports are accurate
This could be a very happy Sunday for Tottenham fans with claiming that Nuno Espirito Santo could be about to lose his job.
Spurs were thrashed 3-0 by an equally hapless Manchester United and the Portuguese manager now looks to be on borrowed time.
Espirito Santo was never the club’s first choice. Failed attempts to appoint Antonio Conte and Paulo Fonseca backfired on Tottenham and they ended up with the contingency.
Spurs have won five and lost five of their opening ten matches and currently have a goal difference of -7.
Espirito Santo’s team have scored just nine goals and yesterday, star players Son Heung-min and Harry Kane cut dejected figures at the end.
They proved no match for a United team that were battered by Liverpool last week and that has set the alarm bells ringing.

It’s fair to say that they’re all extremely hopeful that the board will act. Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici cannot possibly be happy with the current situation and a decision could be made.
Espirito Santo is a decent bloke and at Wolves, he did a decent job. His defensive style just isn’t washing with Tottenham and key attacking players are being stifled.
