Tottenham fans ask Levy not to sell 22-year-old goalkeeper
Swedish outfit Degerfors are eyeing up a move for Tottenham goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman,
The stopper has been demoted to the third choice recently. Boss Nuno Espirito Santo has added Pierluigi Gollini to his goalkeeping ranks, with Hugo Lloris established as the number one.
Whiteman has made one first-team appearance for Tottenham. That came last season during the Europa League campaign as a late substitute.

He has been a regular in the club’s under-23 and under-18 ranks having risen through the club’s youth academy.
Whiteman is now 22 and the time has come where he will need to be playing regular football. At this stage, nobody really knows what he’s capable of in men’s football and now Degerfors are keen to pounce.
It is unsure from the report whether the deal will be on loan or whether it will be a permanent exit from Tottenham for Whiteman.
The custodian is out of contract during the summer of 2022. As a result, if he does impress, he could throw himself into the shop window ahead of next season when he will become a free agent.
Tottenham fans think this move would be wise for Whiteman
It’s fair to suggest that not too many fans would be particularly bothered should Whiteman be sold in the coming weeks.

Plenty do feel as though it will be a loan, however. The player will be out of contract in the summer though and his chances do seem slim right now.
Whiteman at 22 is yet to make a first-team start for Spurs and it appears now would be a good time for him to depart the club.
