Tottenham fans are in despair as Ange Postecoglou drops transfer update which is ‘genuinely unacceptable’
Ange Postecoglou provided an update on Tottenham Hotspur transfers this month and his verdict has supporters in despair.
The Tottenham boss has been calling for help in the January transfer window with his squad having been decimated by injuries this term.
The North London club have travelled to Germany to face Hoffenheim with 14 unavailable players, leaving his options to rotate once again limited.
Speaking ahead of the Europa League clash, Postecoglou revealed what the latest is with Tottenham bringing in new players this month and to put it simply, it’s not looking promising.

What Ange Postecoglou said about Tottenham transfers
Ange Postecoglou claims Tottenham could make no more January signings before the transfer window closes.
The Lilywhites have less than two weeks to bring in new players but it is increasingly likely that Antonin Kinsky will be their only new arrival.
Tottenham tried to sign Randal Kolo Muani but missed out on a deal to Juventus and now, it does not look like they are seeking an alternative.
When asked if Tottenham might not sign anybody this month, Postecoglou told the media: “Yeah, potentially. The club is working hard to get some help for the players.
“As far as I’m aware there’s nothing imminent but in the last week of the window things happen quickly.”
Tottenham’s react to Ange Postecoglou transfer update
Tottenham fans have labelled Ange Postecoglou’s latest transfer update as ‘genuinely unacceptable’ with yet another manager being failed.
The Australian manager’s squad has been crying out for reinforcements with so many key players sidelined for months.
But, help from the club does not appear to be forthcoming and Postecoglou will have to continue making do with his current options.
Spurs supporters have taken to X to share their frustrations towards Daniel Levy’s lack of support for their manager.
One supporter said: “He started the window by saying how desperately he needed players, and the board have failed him.”
“I don’t think he is the manager to take us forward, but it is another manager who has been set up to fail from the jump, first with the sale of Kane and not replacing him, to the disaster transfer window in the summer, now deciding to keep him and potentially bring NO one in to help,” added another fan.
There was yet more concern for the club’s position: “If we genuinely don’t sign anyone this window then the club is in trouble. We are looking down at the bottom half of the table and struggling to win games and the club don’t do anything about it.”
“They signed one single player over the age of 20 in the summer. It wasn’t good enough for a team who wanted to compete at the top of European football. After lowering the wage bill over the previous year with big hitters leaving. It’s utterly shameful,” claimed another.
