Tottenham fans are all making the same point about Yang Min-hyeok after his first start for QPR
Tottenham Hotspur have made a real name for themselves in recent years when it comes to signing young prospects and turning them into stars.
Pape Matar Sarr, Destiny Udogie and Lucas Bergvall all joined Spurs somewhat under the radar and have become established first-team players while at N17.
Yang Min-hyeok is one of the latest young players Tottenham have snapped up with a view to becoming a key player for Spurs in the future.

Yang arrived at Tottenham from South Korean club Gangwon FC in December and, a few weeks later, he was loaned to Queens Park Rangers for the rest of the season.
The 18-year-old’s first three QPR outings were off the bench but, on Friday, he was named in the starting XI for the first time as Derby County visited Loftus Road.
Yang delivered an impressive performance for QPR in a 4-0 hammering of the Rams which had Tottenham fans excitedly singing his praises.
Tottenham fans say Yang Min-hyeok has a bright future ahead
Tottenham fans said Yang looked very impressive, noting how good his first touch is, and tipped him to develop into a brilliant player over the coming years.
“He’s everything we’ve been missing this season,” said one fan. “Hunger to run at people & not just run, run with purpose & intelligence.
“He kinda gives me Aaron Lennon vibes but probably a bit less rigid in his position. Hopefully Ange is here next season when Yang comes back because he’s gonna (cook).”
Another wrote: “Looked pretty good on the right today, a future winger partnership of Moore and Yang would be a dream but definitely early days.”
The praise – along with optimism for the future – kept coming, with one saying: “Yang, Moore, Odobert, Tel (hopefully). Potential with this group of wingers is limitless.”
Another said: “This kid could be the real deal. Lange cooking.”
And another wrote: “Think he’s been excellent. Tidy touches and good movement so far.
“Definitely gonna be a long term starter for the rest of this season at QPR if he keeps this up.”
A few Spurs fans also noted how Yang’s assist for Ilias Chair’s second – QPR’s third of the night – was reminiscent of Brennan Johnson’s cut-backs.
One Tottenham supporter wrote on X: “Yang just did the exact Brennan Johnson assist.”
Another said “Yang just did the exact Brennan Johnson assist”, while another claimed the teenager is “already a better crosser than Brennan Johnson”.
How Yang fared for QPR against Derby
Yang was handed his first start and was given 63 minutes against Derby, during which he gave a great account of himself.
Along with getting the assist, the Tottenham loanee was also accurate in his passing, getting 13 of his 15 passes right.
Yang also made two key passes, completed two dribble attempts, won four ground duels and chipped in with a tackle and an interception.

The Championship is a hard league to play in, and to be looking right at home in the division as an 18-year-old shows he’s a special talent.
Yang could next be in action on Saturday 22 February when QPR head to Portsmouth in a 3pm GMT kick-off.
