Tottenham eyeing two players ranked among the world’s best 20 youngsters

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on two players who have just been ranked among the top 20 youngsters in the world.

Over the past few weeks, reports have been doing the rounds linking Spurs with Real Madrid talent Arda Guler and FC Copenhagen gem Roony Bardghji.

In February, Spanish outlet  claimed Tottenham are interested in a potential summer approach for Guler, who has struggled for game time at the Bernabeu amid injuries this term.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reported in January that Bardghji is another youngster who is admired by staff at Spurs in wake of a superb first half of the season at Copenhagen.

Tottenham targets Arda Guler and Roony Bardghji listed among the world’s best youngsters

Now, both players have made the cut in of the 50 best youngsters in world football.

They listed Guler at number five, ahead of the likes of Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo and Club Brugge’s Antonio Nusa, who has also been linked with Tottenham.

The 19-year-old arrived at Real Madrid in the summer, having been labelled Europe’s next big ‘’. However, injuries have hampered his maiden season at the club. 

Meanwhile, Bardghji was at number 13, ahead of gems like Newcastle United’s Lewis Miley and the Spurs-bound Lucas Bergvall.

The young Swede has 11 goals from 33 outings this term, with one of his efforts coming against Manchester United in the Champions League. He has been described as an ’ winger.

When it comes to exciting prospects, Tottenham have well and truly struck gold in recent years. The likes of Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie have become established first-teamers.

And with Ange Postecoglou at the helm, Spurs certainly have great pulling power. For instance, Radu Dragusin picked Tottenham ahead of Bayern Munich, while Bergvall chose Spurs over Barcelona.

Let’s hope that Tottenham will intensify their interest in the likes of Guler and Bardghji, and go on to put together an amazing young team that will develop into a world-class outfit.
