Tottenham dealt transfer blow as Kim Min-Jae apologises to team-mates, set for China stay
Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of signing South Korea international Kim Min-Jae have taken a big hit, with the centre-back reportedly set to remain with his current club this summer.
The defender, nicknamed ‘Monster’ because of his size and strength, had looked likely to be leaving current club Beijing Sinobo Guoan. This came after Kim was being cast as a villain at his current club.
last month, Kim made comments referring to the lack of ability of two of his defensive team-mates, Chinese internationals Yu Dabao and Wang Gang.
That incensed the club and it appeared they were ready to let him go as a consequence.

that Tottenham were keen on uniting Kim with his international colleague Heung-min Son, later reported that Tottenham were increasingly confident of a deal for the player, with Beijing said to want a figure in the region of £15 million.
However, the latest reports from China suggest that Tottenham are out of luck.
that Kim apologised to his team-mates and the club. He is now back in first-team training with the club and is hoping to be involved in the club’s Chinese Super League opener against Chongqing Lifan this weekend.
Tottenham are on the hunt for centre-back reinforcements with Jan Vertonghen set to leave the club and Kim appeared to be a cost-effective potential option.
However, that no longer seems likely, with the 23-year-old set to remain in China.
