Tottenham could try and sign £51m defender if Radu Dragusin deal gets hijacked by Bayern Munich
Tottenham Hotspur have a ‘Plan B’ if Bayern Munich hijacks their move to sign Radu Dragusin – Sevilla’s Loic Bade.
Spurs announced the arrival of Timo Werner on loan yesterday, and that is a really exciting signing. However, Ange Postecoglou‘s priority is a new central defender, and Bade could now become an option for Tottenham.

Loic Bade is Tottenham’s ‘Plan B’ if Radu Dragusin deal collapses
UPDATE: Radu Dragusin is on the verge of joining Tottenham
Tottenham seemed like the favourites to sign Radu Dragusin yesterday, didn’t they?
It was claimed that Spurs and Genoa had reached a ‘full agreement‘ for the transfer of the player. Djed Spence was also included in the deal to spend the next six months on loan in Italy.
Just as Tottenham fans began to get excited, Bayern Munich tabled a bid for Dragusin last night, and it has been revealed that they are confident of getting their man now.
Spurs are not out of it yet, but it would be wise to have alternatives lined up.
claimed last week that Tottenham are interested in Sevilla’s Loic Bade, and claimed yesterday that he is Postecoglou’s ‘Plan B’ if Dragusin goes to Bayern.
Bade only joined Sevilla on a permanent deal last summer. The Spanish side inserted a £51 million (€60m) release clause in his contract then.

Bade has been compared to Raphael Varane
Tottenham fans may remember Loic Bade from his time in the Premier League. He spent a few months at Nottingham Forest in 2022 but didn’t play a game for them.
Bade has since had a great time. He joined Sevilla on a six-month loan deal, where he really impressed. That move was made permanent last summer, and he has been a regular this season as well.
The Frenchman spent a year at Lens between 2020 and 2021, and his performances there earned him comparisons to Raphael Varane ().
Bade is a really good player with a bright future ahead of him. He wouldn’t be a bad option at all for Tottenham this month if they miss out on Dragusin.
