Tottenham could soon receive £60m bid for their ‘world-class’ player

Tottenham Hotspur are bracing themselves to receive a big bid for one of their players this summer.

Spurs have done a fantastic job with respect moving players on.

They have already pushed the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Japhet Tanganga and Ryan Sessegnon out of the door, while Joe Rodon was sold to Leeds United.

There are a few more players who could leave Tottenham in the coming weeks, and one of them could generate some big money for the North Londoners.

Two clubs want to sign Richarlison from Tottenham this summer

Tottenham signed Richarlison from Everton for a club-record £60 million in the summer of 2022 ().

The Brazilian, branded as a ‘‘ player, was viewed as a brilliant signing for Antonio Conte because of his versatility and work ethic, but things just did not go to plan in his debut season.

Richarlison scored just one goal in the Premier League in the 2022/23 campaign and came under a lot of criticism as a result. Many fans even wanted him to be sold.

Spurs kept hold of Richarlison, and he had a much better campaign under Ange Postecoglou.

The 27-year-old scored 12 goals in the 2023/24 season, but his future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been up in the air since the turn of 2023.

Numerous reports have claimed that Richarlison could leave Tottenham this summer, and Ben Jacobs has now shared an interesting update on .

It has been revealed that the dealmakers in Saudi Arabia have indicated that they are prepared to pay a fee close to £60 million to sign Richarlison.

Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadsiah are both interested in the Spurs number nine, and Tottenham are said to be ‘braced for offers’.

Tottenham are tracking two strikers to replace Richarlison if he’s sold

If Tottenham receive offers of around £60 million for Richarlison, they should accept it immediately. It’s an absolute no-brainer.

The Brazilian is a popular figure at Spurs, but Postecoglou’s side are never going to recoup the money they paid for him if they reject offers from Saudi Arabia this summer.

If Tottenham sell Richarlison, they will need to sign a replacement, and Jacobs has revealed the two forwards Spurs are looking at.

The first is Lille’s Jonathan David, who has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham. The Canadian is being considered by Postecoglou and is set to be available for £25 million.

The other striker Tottenham are tracking is Santiago Gimenez. The Mexican scored 26 goals for Feyenoord last season and is an option for Spurs this summer.
