Tottenham could sign £25m player and put him on a bigger salary than Richarlison
Tottenham Hotspur could be set to repeat one of their most commonly-used transfer tricks
Spurs have done plenty of shopping in Serie A in recent years, and they’ve done the majority of that shopping in Turin.
Indeed, Tottenham love to sign players from Juventus with the likes of Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur and Cristian Romero all signing from the Italian giants in recent years.
Now, Spurs could be at it again as they’re reportedly looking at signing Juventus’ Federico Chiesa.
The winger is reportedly available for just £25m this summer, and Spurs may bring him in and put him on a hefty salary.

Tottenham could pay Chiesa a healthy wage
, Tottenham have started to assess whether or not they want to sign Chiesa this summer.
TuttoJuve note that Spurs want to strengthen their attack this summer amid speculation about the future of Richarlison.
However, the most interesting aspect of this report is the wage that Chiesa could earn at Spurs.
Indeed, TuttoJuve state that Chiesa could earn €6m-a-year at Tottenham, which works out at around £100k-a-week.
Chiesa may take a paycut
If Chiesa joins Tottenham on this sort of wage, then he will be taking a paycut.
The Italian is on £150k-a-week at Juventus, so he’d be taking a serious financial hit if he were to sign for Spurs on these terms.
However, as he enters the final year of his Juventus contract, he may have to consider this move, especially if other offers aren’t forthcoming.
£100k-a-week is far from a pauper’s salary though. It’s a lot of money for anyone, and it would make him , earning more than the likes of Richarlison and Micky van de Ven.
Chiesa to Tottenham could well be one to watch as Spurs look to improve their attacking options this summer.
