Tottenham could sign 24-year-old, but Fulham want him too
Tottenham are still on the lookout for more January additions.
Spurs have already signed two players this month, but there have been continuous links to a new central midfielder.
Indeed, Conor Gallagher has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs, but that does sound like it will be a difficult deal to do.
With Gallagher potentially off the table, Spurs may have to look elsewhere, and one player who is said to be of interest to Tottenham is Atalanta’s Ederson.
Speaking on , Ben Jacobs has stated that Ederson is a player that Spurs could sign, but he warned that Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Fulham are also keen on the player.

Ederson an option for Tottenham
Jacobs shared what he knows about the 24-year-old.
“Wolves don’t want to lose Gomes, Ederson does have some legs, Atleti have looked historically but are looking at other targets, Juventus are also in the race, and I’m also told that Fulham are looking and they’re still in the market for some sort of central midfielder,” Jacobs said.
Typical Tottenham signing
It really wouldn’t be a surprise if Spurs did sign Ederson as this would be a typical Tottenham signing in recent years.
With Fabio Paratici still helping Spurs on a consultancy basis, it’s not a shock to hear that Spurs are scouring Serie A for potential midfield additions.
We wouldn’t be shocked at all if Ederson did end up at Tottenham, and while it would be a difficult deal to pull off due to the amount of competition, it may be worthwhile after the recent success of many of Paratici’s recent finds from Serie A.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on towards the end of the January transfer window.
