Tottenham considering ‘one of the best midfielders in Europe’ as Eberechi Eze alternative

Tottenham’s transfer plans could be about to ramp up as the Euros finally draws to a close tonight in Germany.

With England the focus of everyone’s attention in the Premier League, Tottenham fans will be hoping the end of the tournament can spark a surge in transfer activity at the club.

Of course, Archie Gray has already been signed and Lucas Bergvall will add another new name to proceedings for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

But Postecoglou is wanting even more signings and Tottenham are being linked with a number of players.

As we know, Crystal Palace midfielder Ebere Eze is said to feature on Tottenham’s list of potential signings, while Pedro Neto of Wolves is also a player they like.

However, while those two players are on the list for Spurs, there are other targets as well.

Tottenham eyeing move for Georgiy Sudakov

According to the report from CaughtOffside, Shakhtar Donetsk star Sudakov is very much a player on the radar of Tottenham this summer.

The Ukrainian midfielder has forged a reputation in his homeland as being one of the top players in the country and interest in him is high.

Indeed, current Shakhtar CEO Sergei Palkin has even backed the midfielder to go on and become one of the best in Europe and the world.

Previous reports have suggested that Shakhtar will look to bring in around £43m+ for Sudakov if he is to be moved on.

For Tottenham, it looks like they are getting to the point where they need to make a decision on just who to go for next in the market.

Sudakov, then, could well be an option should Eze be out of reach in the end.
