Tottenham Transfer News: Confidence in Pedro Porro deal growing with deal close
Tottenham have been chasing Pedro Porro all month from Sporting Lisbon and it finally looks like they might be close to a breakthrough.
Sporting have stuck to their guns all winter. Multiple reports have cited how the Portuguese side have told Tottenham it’s either pay the 45m Euro release clause, or go away.

Tottenham seem to do this every single window. Porro has been linked for ages and it looks like once more it’s going to go down to the wire.
The player clearly wants to sign so why Tottenham are haggling over a few million in the fee is an odd one. It’s easy to see why Spurs fans get frustrated really, when you look at this deal.
Conte needs reinforcements. A wing-back is vital for his system. Porro – described as a ‘‘ player – needs signing, and signing quickly to appease those worried Tottenham fans.
