Tottenham change their mind and agree to sell their ‘unbelievable’ player
Tottenham Hotspur have been really busy on the transfer market recently.
The North Londoners completed a deal to sign Ar🅠chie Gray early in July but then had a bit of a quiet time in the window. That led to some frustration among the fan base.
However, Tottenham completed the signing of Dominic Solank🅠e in a club-record deal and then secured the services of Wilson Odobert out of nowhere.
Now, they have agreed to sell one of their players after making a U-turn o🥂n their previous stance.
Tottenham reach agreement to sell Oliver Skipp to Leicester
Oliver Skipp has🐬 by no means been on top of Ange Postecoglou’s pecking ไorder at Tottenham.
The 🦹Spurs boss preferred Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr in the middle of his park, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur were ahead of Skipp last season as well.
As a result, the 🐷‘‘ Englishman was handed just 861 minutes of game time in ⛄all competitions, which made many believe he would be up for sale.
However, when Leicester City were linked with a move to sign him in July, claimed that Tottenham didn’t want to sell Skipp becaus♏e of his homegrown status.
The outlet said at the time that the midfielder ‘fills a crucial spot in the squad as a ❀club-trained player, which Spurs need four of in their Europa League squad’ in the 2024/25 season.
However, now, it looks like Spurs have changed their mind after Leicester made a move to sign Skipp.
David Ornstein revealed on that Tottenham and Leicester have reached an agreement for the transfer of Skipp,♈ and a medical has been scheduled for late𝓀r today (Sunday).
He said: “Leicester City reach agreement with To🍷ttenham Hotspur to sign Oliver Skipp. 23-year-old midfielder set to undergo medical today before completing a permanen🎃t move from Tottenham to Leicester City.
“Viewed as good deal all round. Clubs meet in the Pre𒐪mie𓂃r League opener tomorrow.”

Skipp will be reunited with a former Tottenham star
Leicester City lost Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chel✅sea earlier this summer, which is a big blow as he was one of their best players.
Skipp isn’t the same profile of player that Dewsbury-Hall is, but he will still be an excellent addition to the Foxes midfieꦓld, where he could form a partnership with a former Spurs star.
Harry Wink🎐s plays for Leicester City now, and the Foxes could see him and Skipp play together a lot in the 2024/25 season if this move goes through.
Ahead of the game on Monday, Ange Postecoglou has raved about Winks. It will be interesting to see how he will fare against his old side🙈.
