Tottenham can still sign ‘incredible’ attacker for £51m amid interest from Bayern Munich
Although they’re facing disappointment in their pursuit of Desire Doue, it seems Tottenham Hotspur could still retain hope for another hotly contested signing.
Tottenham made an enquiry for Doue earlier this summer, a player who could🥀🥃 thrive in Postecoglou’s tactically fluid front three.
And having welcomed Archie Gray to the club, Doue was then though✱t to be Postecoglouও’s priority target – another one of Europe’s brightest youngsters.
However, with Bayern Munich advancing in their attempts to sign the Frenchman, Tottenham are said to be out of the Doue race.
Therefore, Postecoglou is likel⛦y to turn to other targets, perhaps the likes of Premier League pair🐭 Eberechi Eze and Jacob Ramsey.
And whilst they would both be stellar additions, many of a Spurs persuasion are still pining for Dani Olmo.
The RB Leipzig midfielder shone at the Euros, and Olmo has since been offered to Tottenham.
And although Olmo’s release clause at Leipzig has now expired, journali𒅌st has shared some encouraging news for interested clubs over on X.

Spe♑aking on Olmo’s future, Romano said that the Spaniard can still leave the Bundesliga club for €60m (£51m) in ꧃the coming weeks, the same value attached to his release clause.
Romano said the race is open and mentioned that Olmo’s agent has spoken to unnamed Preܫmier League clubs.
He shared: “Dani Olmo wil𒅌l be allowed to leave by RB Leipzig even in the next weeks with proposals in the region of 𒀰€60m, same as the clause expired.
“His agents have spoken to Barça, Bayern (if Doué-Simons options collapse), Pr♏emier League clubs (no talks with City so far).
“Race open.”
Of course, with Doue now perhaps out of reach for Tottenham, Olmo could represent an ‘incredible’ alternative.
Perꦗhaps Spurs would have work to do to convince the midfielder to join a club not in the Championsಞ League, but Postecoglou’s project certainly has pull.
And if Tottenham were to aim to make Olmo theiಌr flagship signing of the summer, he could certainly propel the club back to that reckoning.
