Tottenham believe they can sign ‘world class’ player before their season opener against Leicester City
Tottenham Hotspur have one final friendly before their 2024/25 season gets underway against Leicester City.
It is Bayern Munich which are making the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday for the final outing before Ange Postecoglou‘s side get their campaign going.
The Lilywhites have enjoyed their summer preparations with four wins from five for Tottenham across the last few weeks.
But Spurs are set to go into that game away to Leicester with just one new face at the disposal of their Australian manager.
However, there is now a feeling that Tottenham could be able to secure the signing of one of their top targets in time for the trip to the King Power Stadium.

Tottenham still hope to sign ‘world class’ forward for Leicester opener
Spurs will have hoped to make a quick impression on this summer’s transfer market but – as with a lot of teams – that has not been the case.
Last season’s top three have also struggled to get up and running with just two signings across the trio.
But Tottenham find themselves in desperate need of a new striker this summer with Richarlison still remaining absent through injury.
The Brazilian has not played a single minute of football this summer as he continues to work his way back from his issue from last season.
According to , Tottenham are pushing to make a deal happen for the Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke.
It is even claimed that Spurs feel this is a potential deal which they could even get across the line ahead of the new season starting.
That is going to take some doing considering the north London side are not keen to pay Solanke’s £65m release clause.
And on top of that, the Cherries will not be looking to sell their ‘world class‘ player who found the back of the net 19 times in the Premier League.
Tottenham could fund Dominic Solanke signing through Richarlison sale
As well as pushing for a deal to sign Solanke this summer, Tottenham are also open to the idea of selling their Brazilian forward.
Richarlison is receiving interest from Saudi Arabia with the Pro League clubs now working out their budgets for the summer.
It is a potential move which could see some serious funds come into Spurs over the coming weeks and help fund a move for Solanke.
However, signing Solanke and offloading Richarlison could be counter productive for Spurs who will, once again, be left with just one striker.
Surely Tottenham need to bite the bullet and spend the required money to start the season with two senior strikers.
