Tottenham are starting to believe that their 20-year-old attacker could come good
Tottenham have a number of talented young players on their books right now.
The likes of Mikey Moore and Jamie Donley look to be stars of the future, but perhaps the next big attacking talent at Tottenham was signed this summer.
Indeed, 20-year-old Alejo Veliz was brought in from Argentina this summer, and according to Sean Walsh, speaking on the , Spurs now have a lot of belief in the young South American to go on and make himself a star.

Spurs believe in Veliz
Walsh shared the view of Veliz from within Tottenham.
“What about another forward? How likely do you think that is. Could it be Richarlison out and one in maybe like in the midfield?” Walsh was asked.
“Yeah, it’s probably a case of that. Spurs do have a lot of belief now in Alejo Veliz who they brought in in the summer and he’s been fast tracked into the plans already. Ideally they’d like someone who can play wide as well, but they have a lot of faith in Brennan Johnson at the same time,” Walsh said.
Exciting
This is very exciting to hear.
Of course, it’s always tempting to get worked up when a youngster from Argentina arrives in the Premier League, and, by the sounds of it, Veliz is the real deal.
Ange Postecoglou and his coaching staff know talent when they see it, and it looks as though Spurs have a potential star of the future in the shape of Veliz.
Of course, whether or not the youngster ends up fulfilling his potential remains to be seen, but the fact that Spurs internally think that the youngster could be a star is promising.
Veliz is only 20 years old, so it may be some time before he blossoms into being a top-class striker, but he’s certainly a player to keep an eye on in the coming years.
