Tottenham are more likely to sign £60m player than Arsenal this summer
Tottenham are said to be the team most concretely interested in Georgiy Sudakov.
According to Ben Jacobs, , Tottenham are the team most keen on the Shakhtar Donetsk star.
There have been plenty of rumurs around Sudakov as of late, and according to Jacobs, Sudakov is being pitched to a number of London clubs as he fancies a move to the English capital.
Tottenham are said to be sniffing around, but according to Jacobs, Chelsea’s interest is largely being driven by Mykhaylo Mudryk, while Arsenal aren’t actually thought to be in the conversation at this moment in time.

Tottenham concretely interested in Georgiy Sudakov
Jacobs shared what he knows about Sudakov, talking up the idea of Spurs signing the midfielder.
“Georgiy Sudakov could be one example of a player who is pitched to London clubs in particular. At the moment I’m told it’s Spurs who are the club with concrete interest. Chelsea rumours largely come from Mudryk, Arsenal aren’t thought to be in this conversation at this point,” Jacobs said.
Sudakov a risky signing
Tottenham may want to tread carefully here.
Sudakov is coming from Shakhtar Donetsk, and as the signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk at Chelsea 18 months ago showed, signing players from Shakhtar can be very risky.
The Ukrainian market has been lucrative in the past with the likes of Willian and Fernandinho coming from Shakhtar, but, this current crop don’t seem to translate as well to the Premier League.
Sudakov does look like a talent, and he is worth a punt. However, at a reported asking price of £60m, he would be close to the most expensive signing Spurs have ever made.
If Tottenham are to spend that type of money on a player this summer, they need to get someone who’s more proven and more of a guaranteed success.
