Tottenham agree new contract with their ‘superstar’ youngster, it will be signed next month

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of exciting youth prospects currently coming through their ranks.

A number of those players have played their part in the opening two games for Ange Postecoglou this pre-season.

And, from what has been on display already, Tottenham will be keen to tie some of their top talents down to new deals

Tottenham agree new terms with Mikey Moore

TBR sources can confirm terms are now in place between Tottenham and 16-year-old Moore to extend his stay in north London.

Spurs are now just waiting on the winger to turn 17 years of age on 11 August for him to put pen to paper on his new deal.

The deal which Moore signed as a scholar will roll into the professional contract as Spurs look set to fend off interest from across Europe.

TBR understands Moore had a lot of interest with offers arriving from every major club in England, as well as Real Madrid and PSG.

Mikey Moore could be set for breakthrough season

Spurs have now played two pre-season games and in each of those Moore has shone.

The 16-year-old grabbed his first goal for the senior side in the win over Hearts and then provided an assist in the most recent game against QPR.

Having already been hailed as a ‘superstar‘, Moore could now be earning the trust of Postecoglou with a big season ahead for Tottenham.

Spurs will have Europa League football to consider this season which will mean rotation is going to be key to any success in north London.

And Moore is certainly proving himself to be a worthy option of earning some minutes under the Australian.
