‘Total nuisance’… Chris Sutton says Celtic’s opposition hate playing against ‘superb’ 22-year-old
Chris Sutton has named the Celtic player that he believes defenders in the Scottish Premiership hate playing against.
It wasn’t too long ago that Kyogo Furuhashi would have been the player that the Celtic fans would have named as the one who would have struck fear into the hearts of the opposition. And let’s be honest, he still does.
But it seems that Hyeongyu Oh is another player who now has that crown after his goalscoring exploits over the last couple of games according to Chris Sutton.
The former Celtic hero said Oh’s strength and physical presence is something that is of huge benefit to Celtic
Sutton said [], “You’d expect Kyogo to return to the team but it would be harsh on the Korean to drop out after scoring a double.
“He brings something different to the Celtic side. He’s a physical presence and he is a total nuisance for defenders. Celtic even looked dangerous at corner kicks for a change the other night.”
Oh has been excellent for Celtic over the past few games and his goals have been really important for Rodgers as Kyogo Furuhashi struggles to regain the goalscoring form that has seen him become a hero in the eyes of the fans.

And whilst pundits in the media continue to question the South Korean’s ability, Oh has started to silence his critics with another ‘superb‘ double against Hibs on Wednesday night.
Oh now has five goals to his name this season, just three behind Kyogo, and it seems that unless his recent goalscoring streak ends, the Celtic jersey is his. Unfortunately, he was starved of service as Celtic lost to Kilmarnock today.
The South Korean has been patiently biding his time waiting for an opportunity under Rodgers and whilst no one likes to see Kyogo out of the team, as long as someone is scoring the goals, the Celtic fans will be hoping the 22-year-old will continue to find the back of the net after today’s disappointing result.
