‘Top, top player’: Conte says one Spurs ace works so hard in training; expects ‘great’ game from him tonight
Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has waxed lyrical about Spurs forward Son Heung-min.
The Tottenham manager expects a “great” game against Southampton from a “top, top player” who works so hard in games and in training.
Son has been incredible for Spurs since joining in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen for a reported .

That fee now looks like a bargain considering how well the 29-year-old has done over the years.
Son has made 306 competitive appearances for Spurs and has registered 116 goals and 69 assists.
This season, he has nine goals and five assists from 26 appearances in all competitions.
Son has missed Tottenham’s last three Premier League games with a hamstring injury.
Out for about a month, he also missed the second-leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.
However, the South Korea international featured – and shone – against Brighton in the FA Cup at the weekend.
Speaking ahead of Wednesday’s meeting with Southampton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Conte lauded Son.
“He’s fully fit and we’re talking about another important player for us,” quotes Conte as saying.
“Sonny is a top, top player. His commitment during the games and also training sessions is every time at the top and I’m very happy to have players like him.
“He’s fully fit and in the game against Brighton I tried to save minutes for him, because he was outside for one month and a half.
“But (Wednesday) he’s available, he’s ready to play and for sure I have to be very good to manage him, because I repeat he’s coming out from a serious injury.
“But now he’s OK, he’s fully fit and my expectation tomorrow is to see a great game from him.”
