‘Top player’: Spurs fans laud Joe Rodon for his Everton performance
Spurs snatched a draw at Everton this evening as a Harry Kane double ensured they picked up what could be a valuable point at Goodison Park.
Kane’s instinctive finishing was twice on show for Spurs. First, he controlled and volleyed in following a Michael Keane mistimed header.
Then, Kane equalised with a stunning first-time finish in the second half after Keane and Mason Holgate got themsleves into a bit of a mess at the back.
However, despite Kane’s heroics in front of goal, it was the display of Joe Rodon at the back that impressed a number of onlooking Spurs fans on social media. Twitter was awash with comments from Tottenham supporters praising Rodon, who seems to be going from strength to strength.
Rodon has settled in nicely since his arrival from Swansea and his performance at Everton tonight was excellent again.
